Day 1/ Edinburgh:
Welcome to Edinburgh! Free time this afternoon. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Edinburgh. (D)
Day 2/ Edinburgh:
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city sightseeing with a Local Guide includes the New Town and the Old Town and a visit to Edinburgh Castle to see Scotland's Crown Jewels. Free time this afternoon. Attend the world-renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo performance. (Selected Departures). Overnight in Edinburgh. (B)
Day 3/ Edinburgh - St. Andrews - Pitlochry - Inverness:
Breakfast at the hotel. See the home of golf and famous university town at St. Andrews. Walk through the Victorian mountain resort then drive through the scenic Grampian Mountains and Cairngorms National Park in Pitlochry. Overnight in Inverness. (B)
Day 4/ Inverness - Culloden Moor - Dunrobin - Thurso:
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Culloden battlefield site and visitor center at Culloden Moor. Visit the castle & walled gardens at Dunrobin. Overnight in Thurso. (B, D)
Day 5/ Thurso:
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to John O'Groats to board a ferry for a scenic crossing to the Orkney Islands for sightseeing. Return to the mainland by ferry in the late afternoon. Overnight in Thurso. (B, L, D)
Day 6/ Thurso - Durness - Ullapool - Gairloch:
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a scenic drive along the spectacular North Coast 500 route via Durness and Scourie. Visit to the fishing port that includes a traditional fish & chips lunch at a local restaurant in Ullapool. Overnight in Gairloch. (B, L, D)
Day 7/ Gairloch - Isle of Skye - Fort William - Glencoe:
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive across the Inner Hebridean island in Isle of Skye. Return to the mainland by ferry across the Sound of Sleat to Mallaig. See the monument to fallen Jacobite clansmen and the famous vidaduct in Glenfinnan. See the gateway to Ben Nevis, the UK's highest peak at Fort William. Overnight in Glencoe. (B, D)
Day 8/ Glencoe:
Breakfast at the hotel. OBAN Ferry crossing to the Isle of Mull. Take a scenic drive across the island in Isle of Mull. See the burial place of many Scottish kings & chiefs in Isle of Iona. Visit one of the first Christian monasteries in the British Isles. Overnight in Glencoe. (B, D)
Day 9/ Glencoe - Loch Lomond - Glasgow:
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a scenic drive through Glen Coe and The Trossachs National Park. Visit the lake at Loch Lomond. Guided tour of a whisky distillery at Glasgow. Free time this afternoon before a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Glasgow. (B, D)
